Carsten Friis is the 3. generation of the Friis family and started working for the company while studying economics and law. Shoe design had been a passion throughout his childhood and in 1993, together with his father Carl, Carsten started Billi Bi with a dream of designing trendy and edgy shoes for young women. Billi Bi quickly became the signature brand of Fransi and one of the strongest brands in the Danish and Scandinavian shoe fashion industry.
